Unlike many overseas countries, Product Placement is a relatively new opportunity in NZ.
It enables brands to receive an inferred endorsement by programs, characters or celebrities.
Like all other aspects of marketing the product placement must assist the brand to increase awareness. In addition product placement also needs to communicate the brand’s values, and ideally key messages, by the association the product placement has created.
